Trachelogenin

HCV Entry Inhibitor

Trachelogenin is a potent hepatitis C virus (HCV) entry inhibitor that demonstrates low cytotoxicity and genotype-independent activity. It effectively inhibits HCV cell culture (HCVcc) infection and HCV pseudoparticle (HCVpp) entry in a dose-dependent manner, with IC50 values of 0.325 μg/mL and 0.259 μg/mL, respectively. In addition to its antiviral properties, Trachelogenin also exhibits significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, making it a valuable tool for research in HCV-related studies and potential therapeutic applications.
