Tranexamic acid
Hemostatic Agent
Tranexamic acid targets hemostasis as a potent antifibrinolytic agent. As a cyclic analog of lysine, it functions by inhibiting the activity of urokinase plasminogen activator, reducing excessive fibrinolysis and improving outcomes in severe trauma cases. Furthermore, tranexamic acid has applications in research focusing on hemostatic processes and serves as a linker in the synthesis of PROTACs, such as LZ-07.
