trans-Caffeic aldehyde

Secondary Metabolite

Trans-Caffeic aldehyde is a phenylpropanoid compound and a secondary metabolite identified in the actinomycete Acrocarpospora punica. It has been studied for its potential biological activity, but does not demonstrate inhibitory effects on nitric oxide production in the LPS-induced mouse macrophage model (RAW 264.7). Research involving trans-Caffeic aldehyde may provide insights into its role and functions in various biological contexts.
