Trazium esilate

Antidepressant

Trazium esilate is an antidepressant that targets the central dopaminergic system. It has been shown to synergize with amphetamine, enhancing stereotypy and hypermotility. Additionally, Trazium esilate effectively blocks apomorphine-induced hypothermia and stereotypy, as well as bulbocapnine-induced catalepsy. This compound also potentiates the effects of norepinephrine on the isolated vas deferens of the rat, making it a valuable tool for studying dopaminergic mechanisms and their implications in mood disorders.
