Trebenzomine

Antidepressant/Antipsychotic

Trebenzomine is a centrally acting psychotropic compound with antidepressant and antipsychotic properties. It demonstrates both neuroleptic and stimulant activities, enhancing methamphetamine-induced self-stimulation while reducing septal hyperirritability. Additionally, Trebenzomine suppresses conditioned avoidance behavior and effectively blocks apomorphine-induced emesis in canine models, making it a valuable tool for research in neuropharmacology and behavioral studies.
