Tremulacin

Active compound

Tremulacin is an active glucoside compound derived from the bark and leaves of various Populus species. It exhibits significant anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting TNF-α-stimulation-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, suppressing the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), and enhancing collagen secretion. This compound is valuable for research in inflammation and tissue repair applications.
