Trihexyl phosphate

Flame Retardant

Trihexyl phosphate is an organophosphate compound serving as a flame retardant. It exhibits mitochondrial impairment and induces apoptosis in CHO cells. Additionally, Trihexyl phosphate promotes the proliferation of human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) in a dose-dependent manner and displays estrogenic activity through ERα-independent pathways, making it useful for research in cancer biology and toxicology.
