Kainate Receptor Antagonist
UBP296 is a potent and selective antagonist of the GLUK5-containing kainate receptor. It effectively reversibly blocks ATPA-induced depressions of synaptic transmission and directly influences AMPA receptor-mediated transmission in rat hippocampal slices.
