UBP316

GluK1/GluR5 Antagonist

UBP316 is a highly potent and selective antagonist of the kainate receptors GluK1 and GluR5, exhibiting a Kb value of 1.4 nM. This compound effectively inhibits the depression of field excitatory postsynaptic potentials (fEPSPs) and GABAergic transmission induced by the GluK1 selective agonist ATPA. UBP316 is valuable for research applications involving synaptic transmission modulation and investigating the role of kainate receptors in neurological studies.
