UMB68 sodium

GHB Receptor Ligand

UMB68 sodium is a selective ligand for the GHB receptor, exhibiting a displacement of [3H]NCS-382 with an IC50 of 38 nM in rat cerebrocortical membranes. It demonstrates a lack of significant affinity at GABAB receptors and is not metabolized into GABA-active compounds. This compound is useful for investigating the role of GHB receptors in neuropharmacology and can aid in exploring potential therapeutic targets in related disorders.
