Umbelliferone-d5 (7-Hydroxycoumarin-d5) is a deuterium-labeled derivative of Umbelliferone, a natural compound belonging to the coumarin family. This compound demonstrates fluorescent properties and has applications as a sun-protective agent. Research indicates that Umbelliferone can induce cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and DNA fragmentation in HepG2 cells, showing significant anticancer activity.
