UWA-101 hydrochloride
DAT/SERT Inhibitor
UWA-101 hydrochloride is a selective inhibitor of the dopamine transporter (DAT) and the serotonin transporter (SERT), demonstrating EC50 values of 3.6 µM and 2.3 µM, respectively. This compound is non-cytotoxic and can mitigate motor disorders associated with dopaminergic treatments like L-DOPA, without exhibiting psychotropic effects. UWA-101 hydrochloride is valuable for research on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly in models of Parkinson's disease.
