VIM-2 Inhibitor
VIM-2-IN-1 is a potent inhibitor of VIM-2, a Verona integron-encoded metallo-β-lactamase, demonstrating significant antibacterial activity. This compound displays moderate IC50 values of 23 µM against VIM-2, along with 48 µM for German imipenemase-1 (GIM-1) and 231 µM against New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase (NDM-1). VIM-2-IN-1 is valuable for research in combating β-lactam antibiotic resistance and understanding the mechanisms of β-lactamase activity.
