Vitronectin

Glycoprotein

Vitronectin is a multifunctional glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, and tissue repair. It interacts with various components, including glycosaminoglycans, collagen, and plasminogen, and stabilizes the inhibitory conformation of plasminogen activation inhibitor-1 (PAI-1). Due to its involvement in these processes, vitronectin is a valuable reagent for studies related to wound healing and tumor progression.
