DksA Inhibitor

VKT-17-P4-23 is a DksA inhibitor designed to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. DksA, a conserved transcriptional regulator in Gram-negative bacteria, has a Kd of 124 μM. This compound demonstrates antibacterial activity against both planktonic and intracellular pathogens, particularly Salmonella, and is effective against persistent bacterial infections. VKT-17-P4-23 is suitable for research involving Salmonella infection and the DksA-regulated SPI-2-dependent survival pathway.
