VLS-1272
KIF18A Inhibitor
VLS-1272 is a selective inhibitor of KIF18A, which targets the KIF18A-microtubule complex in an ATP-noncompetitive manner, exhibiting an IC50 of 41 nM. This compound effectively inhibits KIF18A ATPase activity, resulting in disrupted microtubule translocation and abnormal accumulation of KIF18A at spindle poles. Consequently, VLS-1272 induces mitotic arrest and apoptosis in CINHigh tumor cells such as ovarian cancer OVCAR-3 and breast cancer JIMT-1, making it a valuable tool for anti-tumor research applications.
