Saponin Adjuvant

VSA 1 is a semisynthetic analog of QS-21 that functions as a saponin adjuvant. It enhances antigen-specific IgG1 and IgG2a immune responses in BALB/c mice, promoting a mixed Th1/Th2 immune response. This compound is instrumental in improving vaccine efficacy following primary immunization and in augmenting homologous protection, making it valuable for vaccine research and development.
