VU534

NAPE-PLD Activator

VU534 is a potent activator of N-acyl phosphatidylethanolamine-specific phospholipase D (NAPE-PLD), exhibiting an EC50 of 0.30 μM. This compound also functions as a dual inhibitor of fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) and soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) with IC50 values of 1.2 μM. VU534 enhances efferocytosis in a NAPE-PLD dependent manner, making it a valuable tool for investigating mechanisms related to cardiometabolic diseases.
