Vupanorsen sodium

ANGPTL Inhibitor

Vupanorsen sodium is an N-acetyl galactosamine-conjugated antisense oligonucleotide that specifically inhibits the synthesis of Angiopoietin-like 3 (ANGPTL3) protein. This compound is effective in lowering triglyceride levels and reducing atherogenic lipoproteins, making it a valuable tool for research in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular disease. Its potential applications extend to studies aimed at understanding the role of ANGPTL3 in dyslipidemia and associated disorders.
