VV261

Antiviral Inhibitor

VV261 is an orally active prodrug of 4'-fluorouridine that targets viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, effectively inhibiting its activity. This compound demonstrates antiviral efficacy against various viruses, including Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV), severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV), and lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV). VV261 is valuable for research applications focused on understanding viral infections and developing antiviral therapies.
