Porcupine Inhibitor

WHN-88 is an inhibitor of Porcupine (PORCN), a key enzyme involved in the palmitoylation of Wnt ligands. By inhibiting PORCN, WHN-88 prevents the secretion of Wnt ligands, thereby disrupting Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathways. This compound has demonstrated the ability to inhibit stemness in cancer cells and to suppress the initiation and progression of breast tumors in MMTV-Wnt1 transgenic mice, making it a valuable tool for research in cancer biology and therapeutic development.
