SF3B1/FOXA Binder
WX-02-43 is a stereoselective pan-FOXA ligand that covalently binds to specific cysteine residues within the spliceosomal component SF3B1 and the transcription factors FOXA1, FOXA2, and FOXA3. This compound modulates chromatin accessibility and alters nucleosome dynamics in prostate cancer cells, leading to bidirectional changes in gene expression. WX-02-43 demonstrates significant SF3B1-dependent antiproliferative activity specifically in prostate cancer cells, such as 22Rv1, making it a valuable tool for prostate cancer research applications.
