Xenin-8

Insulin Stimulator

Xenin-8 is a C-terminal octapeptide derived from the biologically active fragment of the neurotensin/xenopsin family peptide, Xenin. This compound functions as an insulin stimulator, enhancing basal insulin secretion and amplifying the insulin response to glucose in a dose-dependent manner, with an EC50 of 0.16 nM. Xenin-8 is applicable for research into metabolic disorders, diabetes, and the regulatory mechanisms of insulin secretion.
