Xylene Cyanol FF
DNA Tracker
Xylene Cyanol FF is an acid triphenylmethane dye that serves as a DNA tracker. Its primary application lies in histochemical staining and as a tracking dye for DNA sequencing during electrophoresis. Additionally, Xylene Cyanol FF can facilitate the spectrophotometric determination of iron and aluminum in samples, as it is catalyzed by these metals in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and potassium periodate, accelerating oxidation processes.
