Top I Inhibitor

YCJ-02 is a selective inhibitor of Topoisomerase I, a vital enzyme in DNA replication and repair. It effectively inhibits cell proliferation, induces apoptosis, and causes G2/M phase cell cycle arrest. Additionally, YCJ-02 generates DNA damage, as evidenced by increased γ-H2AX levels, and promotes the degradation of Top I via the ubiquitin/26S proteasome pathway. It also elevates pro-apoptotic protein levels, including Bad, Bax, and cleaved caspase-3, demonstrating broad-spectrum antitumor activity. YCJ-02 is a valuable reagent for cancer research, particularly in the context of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC).
