YHV98-4
Hv1 Inhibitor
YHV98-4 is a selective inhibitor of the Hv1 channel, designed to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. It exhibits a half-maximal inhibitory concentration of 1 µM and uniquely targets Hv1 without affecting other ion channels. This compound has been shown to attenuate inflammatory pain by reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and supports cellular energy metabolism by enhancing ATP production and microglial mitophagy. YHV98-4 promotes microglial-mediated mitochondrial transfer to neurons, which may aid in neuronal recovery and cognitive function improvement, making it a valuable tool for research related to Alzheimer’s disease.
