YM 11124
Immunosuppressive Agent
YM 11124 is a selective immunosuppressive agent that functions primarily by inhibiting cell-mediated immune responses, including type IV allergic reactions such as delayed-type hypersensitivity and allogenic skin graft rejection. It also effectively targets type III allergic reactions, exemplified by the passive Arthus reaction. Importantly, YM 11124 does not influence type I or type II allergic reactions or acute inflammation. This compound is valuable for research applications in organ transplantation and studies of immune hypersensitivity.
