Ypenyl

Cytostatic

Ypenyl is a cytostatic agent that functions as an alkylating compound, demonstrating significant genotoxicity and the ability to disrupt the cell cycle. It has been shown to induce chromosomal aberrations in broad bean root tip meristem cells, resulting in a reduced mitotic index. Ypenyl is employed in cancer research to investigate its effects on cellular proliferation and genetic stability.
