YTR107

Radiation Sensitizer

YTR107 is a radiation sensitizer that targets nucleophosmin1 (NPM1) to inhibit its pentamer formation. By preventing the recruitment of nucleophosmin to DNA damage sites, YTR107 suppresses the repair of DNA double strand breaks, thereby enhancing radiosensitization. This compound is useful in investigating the interplay between DNA repair mechanisms and radiation therapy, offering potential insights for cancer treatment strategies.
