Cysteine Proteinase Inhibitor
Z-LVG-CHN2 is an irreversible inhibitor targeting cysteine proteinases. This cell-permeable tripeptide derivative effectively mimics the binding site of human cysteine proteinases, demonstrating significant biological activity, particularly in inhibiting SARS-CoV-2 replication with an EC50 of 190 nM. Additionally, Z-LVG-CHN2 exhibits activity against herpes simplex virus (HSV), while showing minimal effects on poliovirus replication. This reagent is suitable for research applications focused on viral infections and protease inhibition studies.
