Human ClpP Agonists

ZG36 is an agonist of human Caseinolytic protease P (ClpP), exerting its effects through the non-selective degradation of respiratory chain complexes. This activity leads to a decrease in mitochondrial DNA, resulting in mitochondrial dysfunction and subsequent apoptosis in leukemic cells. Additionally, ZG36 has demonstrated the ability to inhibit the progression of acute myeloid leukemia in xenograft mouse models, making it a valuable tool for research in cancer biology and therapeutic development.
