Zinc borate

Osteogenic Inducer

Zinc borate serves as an osteogenic inducer, promoting bone tissue engineering through its bioactive inorganic properties. By releasing zinc and borate ions, it facilitates the differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells into osteoblasts, enhances the expression of osteogenic genes, and supports calcium deposition. Additionally, zinc borate promotes angiogenesis via the upregulation of vascular endothelial growth factor and exhibits significant antioxidant properties, effectively scavenging free radicals. While it demonstrates cytotoxic effects on certain cell lines, its utility in bone tissue engineering research remains prominent.
