Citrate Synthase-ΔEx4 Ligand
ZINC110492 is a selective ligand targeting the splicing isoform CS-ΔEx4 of citrate synthase (CS). It demonstrates potent inhibition of colorectal cancer (CRC) cell growth in cells that overexpress CS-ΔEx4, with an IC50 value of 7.840 µM. Additionally, ZINC110492 effectively reduces levels of citrate and 2-hydroxyglutarate (2-HG) in SW1116 cells overexpressing CS-ΔEx4, highlighting its potential utility in cancer research and metabolic studies.
