ZLN005 hydrochloride

PGC-1α Activator

ZLN005 hydrochloride is an activator of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma coactivator-1 alpha (PGC-1α). It enhances the expression of PGC-1α and its downstream targets in skeletal muscle cells, leading to improved glucose utilization and fatty acid oxidation. Research applications include the investigation of metabolic processes in models of diabetes, as ZLN005 hydrochloride has been shown to enhance fat oxidation and improve glucose tolerance, pyruvate tolerance, and insulin sensitivity in diabetic db/db mice.
