Zn(BQTC)

mtDNA/nDNA Inhibitor

Zn(BQTC) is a potent inhibitor of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and nuclear DNA (nDNA), causing significant damage to both genetic materials and subsequently disrupting mitochondrial and nuclear functions. This compound activates the DNA damage-induced apoptotic signaling pathway, demonstrating selective antiproliferative activity against A549R cells. Zn(BQTC) is valuable for research focused on cancer biology and the mechanisms underlying DNA damage response and apoptosis.
