ZNU-IMB-Z15
AR Antagonist/Degrader
ZNU-IMB-Z15 is a potent antagonist and selective degrader of the androgen receptor (AR) and its splice variant ARV7. It effectively binds to the ligand-binding domain and the activation function-1 region of AR, promoting AR degradation through the proteasome pathway. By inhibiting AR transcriptional activity, ZNU-IMB-Z15 downregulates mRNA and protein levels of AR target genes, making it a valuable tool for overcoming resistance in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). Its ability to inhibit the proliferation of AR-positive CRPC cell lines and induce apoptosis highlights its potential for anticancer applications in both in vivo and in vitro studies.
