Zofenoprilat
ACE Inhibitor
Zofenoprilat is a potent angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor with an IC50 of 1.7 nM. It effectively decreases the expression of angiotensin II, leading to reduced blood pressure and providing cardioprotective and renal protective effects. Additionally, Zofenoprilat enhances nitric oxide production, diminishes endothelin-1 expression, and supports vascular endothelial function. Furthermore, it regulates oxidative stress-related molecules, exhibiting significant antioxidant activity, making it valuable for research in cardiovascular and renal studies.
