ZT-1a
SPAK Inhibitor
ZT-1a is a selective inhibitor of SPAK (STE20/SPS1-related proline/alanine-rich kinase), functioning through a non-ATP-competitive mechanism. It effectively inhibits SPAK activity with IC50 values of 44.3 μM, 35.0 μM, and 46.7 μM at ATP concentrations of 0.01 mM, 0.1 mM, and 1 mM, respectively. ZT-1a is primarily utilized in research focused on the regulation of ion transport and cellular stress responses, making it valuable for studies related to cellular signaling pathways and renal function.
