EBV Inhibitor
11-Oxomogroside II A1 is an EBV inhibitor that targets the activation of Epstein-Barr virus early antigen (EBV-EA) induced by 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA). Isolated from the ethanol extract of Rohanberry fruit, this oxidized cucurbitin exhibits significant inhibitory activity against EBV activation. Additionally, 11-Oxomogroside II A1 demonstrates weak inhibition of the nitric oxide donor NOR 1, highlighting its potential in viral research and related biological studies.
