20-Hydroxylucidenic acid E2

EBV Inhibitor

20-Hydroxylucidenic acid E2 is a triterpenoid compound derived from Ganoderma lucidum, functioning as an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) inhibitor. It demonstrates significant suppression of inflammation induced by TPA and effectively reduces the expression of EBV early antigens, with an IC50 of 290 μM against 32 pmol TPA. This compound holds potential applications in anti-inflammatory and anticancer research, making it a valuable reagent for studies focused on viral infections and related pathologies.
