3,5-DiBr-PAESA

Chromogenic Reagent

3,5-DiBr-PAESA is a water-soluble pyridylazo chromogenic reagent designed for the sensitive detection of silver ions. It functions by masking copper ions with EDTA and dissociating silver chelates using bromide ions, allowing for precise quantification of silver at sub-milligram levels in strongly acidic high-copper environments. This reagent is particularly useful in flow injection spectrophotometry applications for environmental and analytical chemistry research.
