3-Azidopropanoic acid-PFP ester is an azidopropanoic acid linker featuring an activated pentafluorophenyl (PFP) ester. This compound serves as a versatile click chemistry reagent, facilitating copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) reactions with alkyne-containing molecules, as well as strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with DBCO or BCN derivatives. The azide group enables efficient formation of triazole linkages, while the PFP ester allows for robust reactions with amine groups to establish stable amide bonds.
