Urease Inhibitor
4-Hexen-3-one is a urease inhibitor that effectively targets and inhibits urease activities. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori strains, including ATCC 43526 and TDR variants. Its capability to impede urease function makes it relevant for research applications focused on gastric disorders and the pathogenicity of H. pylori.
