PGI Inhibitor
6-Phosphogluconic acid is a potent inhibitor of phosphoglucose isomerase (PGI), exhibiting competitive inhibition with Kis of 48 μM for glucose 6-phosphate and 42 μM for fructose 6-phosphate.
