8-Azanebularine

RNA-editing Inhibitor

8-Azanebularine is a novel RNA-editing inhibitor targeting the ADAR2 enzyme. This compound replaces the C6 amino group with hydrogen, leading to high-affinity binding to RNA structures recognized by human ADAR2, with a dissociation constant (KD) of 2 nM, and exhibits inhibition at high concentrations (IC50 = 15 mM). 8-Azanebularine is a valuable tool for investigating ADAR-catalyzed RNA-editing processes in various biological systems.
