Microviscosity Probe
8-Phenyl-BODIPY 505/515 is a microviscosity probe derived from the BODIPY scaffold that functions through molecular rotation restriction. In environments with high viscosity, the restriction of rotational motion leads to an extended fluorescence lifetime, enabling precise monitoring of microviscosity changes.
