Aladorian sodium

RyR2 Stabilizer

Aladorian sodium is a non-peptidic stabilizer of the ryanodine receptor 2 (RyR2). It effectively stabilizes RyR2 channels and rectifies abnormal Ca²⁺ handling in cardiomyocytes, thereby improving calcium homeostasis independent of dystrophin restoration. This compound has been shown to attenuate early cardiomyopathy and enhance left ventricular function in canine models of muscular dystrophy. Aladorian sodium is applicable in research related to heart failure, Duchenne muscular dystrophy-associated cardiomyopathy, and general muscular dystrophy.
