Angelylalkannin

Apoptosi Inducer

Angelylalkannin is a naphthoquinone compound that functions as an apoptosis inducer. It exhibits significant antiproliferative activity against human colon cancer cell lines HCT-116 and SW-480, with median inhibitory concentrations (IC50) of 4.76 mM and 7.03 mM, respectively. At concentrations ranging from 1-10 mM, Angelylalkannin effectively arrests the cell cycle in the G1 phase and promotes apoptosis, making it a valuable tool for cancer research and therapeutic studies.
