Batabulin sodium

Antitumor Agent

Batabulin sodium is an antitumor agent that covalently and selectively binds to specific β-tubulin isotypes, disrupting microtubule polymerization. This interference alters cell morphology and induces cell-cycle arrest, ultimately leading to apoptotic cell death. Batabulin sodium is valuable in cancer research for investigating microtubule dynamics and apoptotic mechanisms.
