BDPI

Cell Imaging Agent

BDPI is a BODIPY derivative that functions as a cell imaging agent through its high O2 quantum yield and phototoxic properties. This compound demonstrates significant antitumor activity by inhibiting HeLa cell proliferation with an IC50 of 0.6 µg/mL. BDPI nanoparticles are effectively internalized by HeLa cells, producing fluorescence signals that facilitate cellular imaging. Additionally, BDPI has shown antitumor efficacy in in vivo mouse models, supporting its potential applications in cancer research.
